It has several application tips and can deliver a dose with less contamination. It must seem innocuous to them because even when I have puffed dust directly on an active nest they don't really seem to notice. So unlike the sprays I haven't had an issue with them getting mad and coming after me, but for safety sake I cover up and spray after dusk.
